Minimal Cutlery, Five-Piece Set

Flat satin-steel handles, a deep, rounded spoon bowl and a knife ground from a single piece of steel, tapering from handle to blade. Nothing is added and nothing is decorated, so the weight and finish do the work.

Designed by David Mellor in 2002 and made at his Round Building in Hathersage, outside Sheffield. The five-piece set is one table knife, one table fork, one soup spoon, one dessert spoon and one teaspoon.
