Beosound A1 3rd Gen, Natural Aluminium

A palm-sized speaker shaped like a shallow dome of aluminium, pearl-blasted to a soft satin grey and drilled with a fine field of tiny holes. A leather strap loops through it, held by a small aluminium B&O tag, so it’s as happy on a bookshelf as it is swinging from a bag.

Designed by Cecilie Manz, the A1 has barely needed changing. The third generation keeps the original shape and moves to recycled aluminium. It measures 133 mm across and 46 mm tall.
